A look that combines a toffee colour with a vanilla blonde to create a striking contrast thanks to the COLOUR BANDS technique. These opposite shades allow the light to be enhanced in the front, boosting the creamy finish and extraordinary versatility of the look.
In this dramatic disconnected cut, the contrast at the front is key to bringing light to the face and eyes.
1. Begin by applying Colour A to a 4-cm band at the roots.
2. Apply Colour B to lengths and ends. Leave to develop for 30 minutes.
3. Wash hair with TREAT NATURTECH SENSI DERMO SHAMPOO and dry completely.
4a. Create a rectangular section across the crown and top of the head. Clip to isolate. Begin the Band Block technique in the fringe area. Apply Colour C to lengths, starting at eye level.
4b. Apply Colour D to the ends to create an intense halo of light. Use the Brushlight tool to blend it perfectly.
5. On the right-hand side, use the same technique to apply Colour C to lengths and Colour D to ends. Continue through the left side, back and nape areas.
6. Leave to process for 30 minutes, then wash hair with TREAT NATURTECH COLOUR PROTECT SHAMPOO and towel dry.
7. Apply INFLASHY GLOSS VANILLA to lengths and ends. Leave to develop for 15 minutes. Rinse hair and finish the service with SILAPLEX 2 BOND RESTORER. Leave to work for 10 minutes.

SECTIONING:
Section the hair as shown. For SECTION 1, create a triangular section over the fringe area (panels 7 and 8). Create SECTION 2 in the top and crown areas by making a horseshoe parting. Use a vertical parting to create side SECTIONS 3 and 4 (panels 1 and 6). SECTION 5 is the area in the back and nape (panels 2, 3, 4 and 5).
1. Begin cutting the hair in SECTION 5, the back and nape. Cut the middle of the section at 0 degrees elevation, using your fingers as a guide to cut in a straight line (panels 3 and 4). Over-direct the hair towards the middle (panels 2 and 5), cutting straight at 0 degrees elevation.
2. In SECTION 1, the fringe area (panels 7 and 8), find a point of reference (nose, mouth, chin) and over-direct hair to the centre. Clamp hair between your fingers in a horizontal position and twist outwards 360 degrees. Return your fingers to the same position. Cut straight across.
3. Brush SECTION 2 into natural fall and split into radial subsections, twisting each one. Establish the guide for the fringe and elevate the first subsection above 180 degrees. Use shears to cut the hair with the slithering technique.* Continue throughout the entire section.
4. Brush SECTIONS 2 and 5 to the hair’s natural fall. Take vertical sections, elevating the hair to 45 degrees and using a diagonal finger angle to connect the sections. Cut SECTION 5 with a horizontal finger angle, overdirecting away from the centre.
